The ideal candidate will be skilled addressing therapeutic needs related to sensory processing disorders, emotional regulation challenges, sensory feeding issues, ADHD, autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, executive functioning skills, and have experience working with children with behavioral challenges. 

This position is being offered to fill a specific need in our community for more later therapy times for busy working families and their children. This benefitted position is being offered with a 10% pay differential compared to our other benefitted positions due to the hour requirements and requires a 1-year commitment in this schedule. Upon fulfilling the 1-year commitment you can choose to keep this position with the pay differential or change your schedule to one of our more flexible options that does not include this pay differential. This position requires one of the following 3 schedules: 

* Monday – Friday 10am to 6:30pm ( 5 days, Full Time – 40 hours) 

* M/Tu/Th/Fri 8am – 6:30pm (4 days, Full Time – 40 hours) 

*Th/Fri/Sat: 8am – 6:30pm on Th/Fr, 8am – 4:30pm Sat (3 days, Part Time – 28 hours) 

• Owners are working therapists and understand the complexities of providing therapy services. We never ask therapists to do work that we do not or have not done ourselves. In the ever-tightening healthcare market, you want to work somewhere where the boss actually understands your job. 

• After your 1-year commitment is up, you can choose how many hours you work! Minimum commitment 28 hours per week, maximum commitment 40 hours per week. 

• Weekly paid mentorship with owners/senior therapists for 1 year! 

• Professional freedom and flexibility 

• Therapists do not have to work a 5-day work week although some limited afterschool hours are required of all therapists. 

• Therapists are allowed to flex their hours up and down (with some limitation) as their needs change without losing benefits. 

• All benefits are available to part-time employees 0.7 FTE or higher. 

• Base hourly wage plus bonuses 

• Generous paid time off 

• Sick leave

• Health insurance partially paid by employer 

• Continuing education funding 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy 

• WA Occupational Therapy License 

• 2 years of experience as an OT (preferably in pediatrics) is preferred, however clinicians new to pediatrics will be considered if they have had a pediatric fieldwork experience and produce very strong professional references. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain timely documentation 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• High levels of professional accountability and high ethical standards 

• Evaluate individuals 0-21 year to determine the need for occupational therapy services 

• Develop treatment plans and administer therapy services to individuals ages 0-21 

• Complete daily notes, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries in a timely fashion meeting all insurance and licensure requirements 

• Provide consistent caregiver education to support therapy goals 

• Collaborate with members of the patient’s care team as necessary in a timely fashion 

• Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and office areas used by the clinician 

• Possibility of COTA supervision 

Pay: $94,500.00 – $103,385.00 per year

The ideal candidate will be skilled addressing therapeutic needs including but not limited to: torticollis, plagiocephaly, gait abnormalities, developmental motor delays, back and knee pain, Down Syndrome, and Autism. 

• Owners are working therapists and understand the complexities of providing therapy services. We never ask therapists to do work that we do not or have not done ourselves. In the ever-tightening healthcare market, you want to work somewhere where the boss actually understands your job.

• WA Physical Therapy License 

• 2 years of physical therapy experience is preferred, however new graduates with a strong clinical rotation or strong candidates without pediatric experience will be considered. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain timely documentation 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• High levels of professional accountability and high ethical standards

• Evaluate individuals 0-21 year to determine the need for physical therapy services 

• Develop treatment plans and administer therapy services to individuals ages 0-21 

• Complete daily notes, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries in a timely fashion meeting all insurance and licensure requirements 

• Provide consistent caregiver education to support therapy goals 

• Collaborate with members of the patient’s care team as necessary in a timely fashion 

• Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and office areas used by the clinician 

• Possibility of PTA supervision
