Occupational Therapist
Prism Pediatric Therapy is looking for a creative, flexible, innovative occupational therapist that has a passion for working with children and their families. This position requires a degree in occupational therapy and at least 3 years of experience with 2 years of experience providing occupational therapy services in the area of pediatrics. An ideal candidate will have experience working with children with sensory processing disorders, autism, ADHD, and developmental delay.
The candidate’s treatment philosophy should have a strong focus on parent involvement in therapy. The candidate should have a solid understanding of development and be able to employ a wide variety of treatment approaches. This position offers a high degree of professional freedom and flexibility in scheduling and requires a candidate that is driven, organized, and possesses a high degree of personal accountability. The candidate will be required to complete timely documentation and should have good written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
Our clinic is trialing weekend services and this position will require weekend hours on either Saturday or Sunday (chosen by the therapist). This position Position is 20 to 24 hours per week. We offer creative compensation and scheduling.
